SGM come out of hibernation 2023-11-15 by Free Death #2 | 9 Comments | Proudly uncategorizable oddballs Sleepytime Gorilla Museum return after 13 years with a new album. of the Last Human Being is slated to drop February 1, 2024.
To sweeten the announcement the band are also now streaming the album’s opening track, “Salamander In Two Worlds”, on their Bandcamp. Precisely 6 and a half minutes long, it’s a fittingly bizarre art-rock aria, featuring layered vocals and a satisfying metallic tinge.
Stream the new song and/or pre-order the album here:

I wonder how many of you are here because you didn’t know what SGM stood for. I definitely am

Wish I could see them and Kayo Dot in upcoming tour. New song rules and can’t believe they actually came back after all this time to finish their final album.

Good to see that they're back either way
