Kalandra share new single 2023-10-27 by Fernando Alves | 5 Comments | Norwegian folk collective Kalandra have shared a music video for their latest single 'Bardaginn'. You can watch it below.
Music video scripted, shot and edited by Ragnarok Film
'Bardaginn,' derives its name from Old Norse, meaning 'fight' or 'battle,' be it an internal struggle or a confrontation in the real world. The song explores the paradox of life's seeming meaninglessness, yet the inherent human inclination to fight for something, or someone, and how it's a complex and multifaceted aspect of our nature.

Sounds great, as usual with Kalandra.
| | | Best nordic folk band I've ever listened to
| | | quite a heavy song
| | | wow this was fucking cool
love the vocal cadence of the language and delivery as always
dub-womb was used tastefully and powerfully for the climax
neat video, loved the references to Repulsion and Tarkovsky? looks like the stuff I'd make if I shot music-videos
| | | Would love to see the singer featured on a Katatonia track and vice versa
