Extol release 2 new tracks

Bridging a 10-year gap since their last full-length album, Norwegian progressive/experimental metallers Extol have released two new tracks with Solid State Records and Indie Recordings, mixed/mastered by Jens Bogren. The release of "Labyrinth of III" and "Exigency" marks a renewal of joint musical activity by original band members Peter and Christer Espevoll, David Husvik and Ole Børud, and possibly/hopefully heralds the advent of a new full-length album in the coming year.

Sput listened to me. I griped about there not being a music news article for these singles on Extol’s self titled page comments. Lolz. Tracks kick ass and band rules.

labyrinth having such an azusa bent from the very first few chugs is pretty fascinating to me, like, those chugs are born of extol membership. these mfers figured out how to sound like themselves with just chugs. that's pretty cool. not sure how many bands i'd be able to confidently ID just going off how their chugs sound.
