This will be the band’s first album as a four piece band, compared to the previous album where bandleader Waqas Ahmed (who works as a guitar teacher) played all the instruments and programmed the drums. This is also the band’s first official music video.

Wish it was Doomsday Student
| | | cool thanks for sharing. a lot of nice melo-prog lead in this single. expect there will be more rhythmic djent on an album called 'Djent Djinn'? or maybe they just couldn't resist the alliteration? it is an apt title. def an audience here for this style if it got a review.
Curious if they infuse more local Pakistani musical flavor, can hear a little in the counterpoint melodies on this I think
| | | Yeah the lead work is nice during the chorus. He plays 7 string guitars so I’m guessing there will be some djenty stuff mixed in considering the album name. Would love him to infuse some Pakistani elements
His debut self titled album has some cool melodic stuff mixed with heavy riffs
