Brutal death metal
|
| |
mega yikes
|
| |
the broken nose mug shot seems pretty real deal yikes.
|
| |
Sad story, seems like the band took all the right steps. Seriously big of Hughes to keep trying to help Bentley after being physically assaulted by him but cutting him off completely is the only safe move for everyone involved. Again, sad and shitty situation to have to be in.
|
| |
Also... another Deathcore vocalist who did some messed up shit and got kicked out the band. This has also happened with Shrine of Malice, Lorna Shore off the top of my head, there are many others though.
|
| |
Lol was reading about this. Not sure how this dude beat up the drummer and broke his ribs a month ago and didn’t get handled after that. The fact he gave him money to get home after he busted him up so bad is insane to me
|
| |
recurring uncontrollable violence would be a sweet track title
|
| |
sounds like a great publicity stunt to promote deathcore
|
| |
Alright since we’re all being so sensitive about this…
I dead-ass want this position. Would kick so many asses to be Vulvo’s new vocalist.
|
| |
who the fuck and what the fuck
|
| |
just checked their facebook page, awesome that the drummer / band are still playing:
"After all horrific recent events and our van breaking down. We made it back to the tour minutes before our show! Nate our merch guy and Zdenek from Lacerated Enemy records stepped in on vocals and we made it work."
|
| |
That wasn't very slammin' of the vocalist
|
| |
they are lucky they're not a black metal band
|
| |
That is horrible.
|
| |
maybe the guy can go join SHINING from sweden with niklas kvarforth
in all seriousness though you really can't understand the sadness that financial loss has on a band unless you've been in that situation, it's horrible, these guys probably planned things ahead of time with the money, what theyd have done with it, counted on it, etc. It's like having your job taken from you basically
|
| |
They should change their name while they are figuring shit out because their name is awful
|
| |
“ deathcore slam squad”
Stop
|
| |
I mean this is as deathcore as it can be tbh
|
| |
it's more slam than deathcore really, at least imo
|
| |
Deathcore used to be the new Slam, but Slam still slammed while deathcore slapped and now, Slam is the new/old Slam cause people are listening now and deathcore fell off with its training wheels and only slams into traffic too heavy for it
Or something slam
|
| |
are there blast beats?
|
| |
most sources seem to indicate that there is very little overlap of any kind between the deathcore and slam as far as the origins go, with the only convergence point being some hybrid bands
but the corekids definitely stole the bree bree from slammers
|
| |
Yeah, i totally have no idea how slam started (or deathcore, really). Sounds like some interesting reading, though!
I’ll always have a soft spot for the brees!
|
| |
^NY in the 90s, the same place every cool remotely violent sounding music started off lol. Slam is mostly not for me tho, I admit.
|
| |
“ NY in the 90s”
Makes sense! Must’ve been hella wild going to shows at the time
“Slam is mostly not for me tho, I admit.”
Understandable. My relationship with slam is like my relationship with milkshakes: i love it, but i can’t binge it too much without getting a headache and diarrhea
|
| |
I think pig squeals are comic relief personally, but then again, even guys like Åkerfeldt sound like they're squealing when they growl the "ee" sound, so I guess it's a bit blurry
