Kimbra returns with new single 2022-10-21 by Raul Stanciu STAFF | 5 Comments | Kimbra revealed "Save Me", the first single off her 4th studio album. A Reckoning will be released in early 2023 via Inertia Music. She started working on the LP in 2018 and “it’s [her] most sonically autonomous and confessionally raw, finding influence in everything from modern movie soundtracks to electronic and industrial worlds”.

Verse melody has a hauntingly beautiful indie folk persona that somehow almost gets subverted by this very bland chorus melody for me. Wish this wouldn't remind me of that one pop song that gets played on the radio way too many times. Guess this works as a song, but definitely needs time to grow on me.
