I love the Early Bruce records, but the the last 10 years or so it seems as if he went off the deep end a little, turning into a characature of himself

I mean, no doubt I will listen to it. Not too jazzed on it being soul cover album, but I suppose he's one of the classic rock artists who is more well equipped to handle them.

The last two records were a really nice bounce back in quality. He's aged gracefully, even with all the bumps in the road and missteps. Will definitely check this out

Not expecting too much from this as a covers album, but the last two albums have been pretty killer.

Everybody ends up doing something like this though, look at Dylan

I guess he earned the right

But is this his choice, I’m hoping he would be able to decline things Che don’t want to do

New Bruce is always a good thing, even if its not the "right" kind of Bruce

The Boss Abides.

agreed about last 2 albums - last one even evoked that 'xmas sound' nostalgia for his early works... so yea. and especially those decidedly offbeat choices for soul covers kinda makes this slap n fap already
