This band is honestly kinda legendary at this point. Went harder than all their contemporaries. Arguably only had one “bad” album that if it was released by any other band would be a highlight in their discog. Great style. They need more recognition. Amazing live band too. I’ve sorta grown out of this type of music but my ears always perk up when this band is mentioned

lacks the certain intensity that i expect from loma prieta but still not bad. if an album is to come, this + the 2020 singles preview a very interesting shift in sound

It's been so long since their last LP that I'm just happy they're still around at this point. Monumental band.

really fucking good, much better than i expected. instead of going the post-punk way of their contemporaries like ceremony it looks like they're emphasizing the heavy and melodic tones. kinda reminds me of old school envy but in a loma prieta fashion
