Band comments: " 'Embrace Oblivion' is about accepting change on a personal level, and trusting in your ability to adapt and grow from events that may seem destructive in the short-term. Sometimes we need to break down our own established structures in order to build something better in their place."

Fallujah's overhauled lineup includes primary songwriter/guitarist Scott Carstairs and compeer/drummer Andrew Baird, newly added vocalist Kyle Schaefer (Archaeologist) and bassist Evan Brewer (formerly Entheos/The Faceless).

Empyrean tracklist:
1. The Bitter Taste Of Clarity
2. Radiant Ascension
3. Embrace Oblivion
4. Into The Eventide
5. Eden's Lament
6. Soulbreaker
7. Duality of Intent
8. Mindless Omnipotent Master
9. Celestial Resonance
10. Artifacts

Seems like they're returning to the atmo dm thing. Pretty solid and now with Evan Brewer? Color me interested.

Fuck yeah pretty keen for this. Looks like they’ve finally given up trying to make the most compressed metal album of all time which is great!

Sounds like what I fell in love with when I first heard Dreamless. Still really miss Alex on vocals, but Kyle is a big improvement from the last guy.

"it might even be better than most of Dreamless"

If it's as strong all the way through as Dreamless was for the first 6 songs I'll be happy

I do think nothing has topped nomadic yet but it hasn't been shite.... except for maybe the last album

It's not on the same level as Nomadic, but it definitely scratches the same itch, and it's clear they're writing at the same caliber again.

I like this quiet a bit. Dreamless is the only album I've spent any time on with these guys and this sounds like a pretty natural.progression of that sound.
Keen to hear the rest of this album.

Hope they highlight the bass a little bit more on the new album, Evan Brewer is too good to be overshadowed like this

the vocalist imo is just outright not as good as their vocalist on TFP and Dreamless, he gets the job done, but his impact is lacking, and the lack of groovey/djenty riffs has me perplexed, there was more versatility in terms of riffing on those albums
