Roby Burgos accused of sexual assault 2022-04-06 by JP Patino Izquierdo | 17 Comments | Daniel Cooper, husband of Valerie Cooper, one half of the electronic duo Sweet Trip has accused Roby Burgos of the same group of sexually assaulting his wife.
In a long and heartfelt post he explained the guilt he felt as a husband and that one of the motivations that led him to tell the story was all of the vicious comments people were making while theorizing on the reason behind the project's breakup.
He explains that Roby Burgos had been showing an obsession over Valerie for a few years now which could be noticed on things like Twitter posts, interviews and even the lyrics of the bands' last album: A Tiny House, In Secret Speeches, Polar Equals.
All of this exploded on january 22, day on which Daniel accuses Roby of flat out sexual assault on Valerie on a hotel.
He also explained that while at first Valerie wasn't ok with him telling the story, she came to understand the reasons for it. You can read the full story here:
