Just put it on and I know this is bound to upset me
UPDATE: This wasn't overly gimmicky like I thought it would be (outside of the screaming style at by Oli at the end but it didnt overstay its welcome I suppose). This style actually kinda worked as far as a pop-"alt metal" song, at the worst I could see it introducing people to more "metal" stylings.
I hope with future work, instead of doing just rehashs of songs that are already hits, they make some original music in this vein. I also hope they don't make it overly ~HEAVY~ or throw in unnecessary breakdowns simply for the sake of shock value. Seems like Oli is enjoying the more pop oriented direction.

A pop radio station plays all day in my workplace and I think it's made me hate Ed Sheeran more than anyone in all of human history

Follow up song: Tell Ed Not to Wash His Dick
|
| |
hahahaha wtf is this collab
awful as expected
|
| |
It’s admittedly better than the original song, but god damn Ed writes some bland generic lyrics
|
| |
Imagine going back in time and informing scene kids that one day Oli will team up with Ed Sheeran
|
| |
Who wanted this
|
| |
truly made for each other
i approve this arc
|
| |
Ed Sheeran is too powerful
|
| |
the most harmless shit you'll hear this year
|
| |
Complete garbage as expected BUT I have to give BMTH props for no longer giving a shit who they work with
|

"Who wanted this"
Me.

Remember when Oli Sikes peed on a fan?
|
| |

|
| |
somehow this is worse than the original song
|
| |
Insufferable pop singer meets washed up metalcore group that hasn't made a good CD since 2013. And to top it off they're both british.
It's almost like they're actively trying to make the worst thing known to man. This is the mein kampf of music.
|
| |
alright then
|
| |
The ending was ight
|
| |
"this ain't it" i told my buddy eric last night, stoned out of my mind, when i put on something else.
for real tho, sounds like imagine dragons. Collabs are fun but some own original material please

Hot Topic veterans on suicide watch rn

It was only a matter of time for a band that made the shitty That's the spirit to collab with someone like Ed Sheeran
|
| |
@Vult I member
"And after everything you put me through, I should have fucking pissed on you"
|
| |
Being pissed on would be better than listening to this shit (not that I would know)
|
| |
this sounds like something i'd come up with as a poor joke in passing
|
| |
I’m truly disturbed that this exists
|
| |
This is almost as bad as Ed's cameo in Game of Thrones
|
| |
Very boring drums. The lack of effort placed there feels obvious
|
| |
lmao wat
|
| |
How did I know there was going to be negative comments on this, this is very good for rock and metal
|
| |

I’m not listening to this but… what? This exists?
Kudos to both artists actually, they clearly don’t give two fucks and are just doing whatever the hell they like.
|
| |
How did I know there was going to be negative comments on this, this is very good for rock and metal
its not lol
|
| |
Tundra would like this lmfaooo
|

Finally someone in metal finally agreed to collab with Ed. Poor guy has been trying to work with someone slightly m slash to help his music be more interesting. Hope this works out for him. I think it will. There is good potential with Ed and BMTH working together.
|
| |
Funny thing is Ed wants Cradle of Filth, his favorite metal band. This is probably just the start and BMTH have worked with Dani Filth before and Dani knows Ed is interested in making music with him. ...this couod be the beginning
