It was a little weird. Not bad, but still weird. I hope it's just an experimental track and they don't do too many things like that.

I can't express enough how much I dislike the drum mix on this song. It is so fucking bad that it ruins the entire rest of the song for me. It's not just one thing, either. The cymbals are way too loud, it sounds like the head on the snare is broken, the kick is lifeless and lacks impact, and I could barely hear the toms.

ILIIAITE is one of my favorite albums of the last couple years and based on this and that garbage ambient album they dropped last year, I have very little hope for their future. Also, Connor was a major creative force behind some of their best songs, and his departure can clearly be felt here.

Yeah ILIIAITE was a huge surprise for me and I binged it for what felt like months straight. That ambient album didn't give me a lot of hope for the future.

I mean it sounds like this isn’t part of a full LP, so the production quality on this isn’t a big deal imo. At least not in the sense that I’m worried about there being a drop in quality on the next LP

People on here were talking about how awful the new Mastodon mix was and I thought it was fine so I was expecting the same thing here but... yeah, this sounds weird. The drums sound like a midi kit and the whole thing is ridiculously claustrophobic feeling.

I get a Crosses/Deftones vibe from this, like Self Titled Tones'. I'm for it, but will also echo the same about the mix being trash.
