nah on first listen I’m thinking slex was overly harsh but mostly right, this is among the most mid beach house i’ve heard

Songs are pretty good, my two favs being Superstar and Through Me. Release strategy is weird, but cool that it’ll be double album length.

at first i liked rose funeral but didn't like the other 3 at all, and now i don't like any of them v much. vocals and mixing are weird and the songwriting doesn't rly save it

Through Me > Superstar > Pink Funeral > Once Twice Melody

only thing about it that isn’t top notch is the artwork

I think this release format is hype. Fans continually have something to look forward to and we probably engage with the songs more overall this way. Plus dream pop EPs are always good
