I think sputnik handles splits/multiple artists very poorly in general

these guys did some cool stuff last year or so to help raise funds for Entombed's LG Petrov to help pay for cancer treatment, they have always been a very, uh, for lack of a better word, ''honorable'' band, like ethically these guys are rock solid and have stayed true their entire career by helping out other bands and fighting for causes they believe in. I haven't loved every record but it's hard not to respect the band's dedication.

Unfortunately under the band's moniker you can only add LP's, EP's, Compilations and Live albums. Adding to all this the obvious style/genre change for this one makes it a side project for me. I hope further revelations will clear that out.

For me the track is cool and think it will work even better as opening and part of the album.

Well Axe to Fall features members of Genghis Tron, Neurosis and other bands who contributed material, but it's still under "Converge" and not "Converge and Genghis Tron and Neurosis and Other Artists".

You def have your point there. I think there s a diference between having special guests and a collab. But if its a Converge album with special guests time will tell.
