ngl, this is good

"If the song serves to irritate the squares and the uptight, so gleefully be it."
Such a trite and worn out way to introduce any kind of work today.

When they left us hanging with "Jesus' Son" years ago I was blown away, it eclipsed their entire discog, but this on the other hand seems like pretty standard fare for them.

cant unsee brian with a mustache tho
|

Sounds like a B-side from Loud Like Love. Not bad but not very good either

Ι think Jesus's Son was also on par with their current song-writing approach, nothing mind-blowing but still wholesome.

I won’t lie
This sucks

I've only really heard tracks from the self titled and Without You I'm Nothing. Enjoyed those but got too bored to even finish this track tbh. Hopefully whatever comes next is more interesting.
EDIT: Spun this one again and actually finished it this time. It's okay, but when did these guys become Weezer?
|
| |
well this is a surprise
|
| |
Do you think Placebo will continue as a duo? Because I'm hoping that they will find a replacement for Forrest
|
| |
i said it before and ill say it again
bring back hewitt

Without You I'm Nothing, Special Needs, Passive Aggressive and My Sweet Prince are Placebo's best efforts to date as far as composition, lyric, depth and concept go, yet I continue to be baffled by their departure from dark material which I think is the soul of the band, not to say they should dwell in the past but this song certainly continues to show distance from core.

Battle for the Sun is a darling to me, though. Still haven't listened to LLL
|
| |
Wow, sounds like Ghosts/Meds era Placebo. Very nice.
|
| |
Definitely more on par with their more recent stuff. Still happy to see them back tho.
|
| |
I like this song but hope the album spices it up a bit. Although I love just about all their stuff.
|
| |
I liked the Gregory House quote
|
| |
this was actually very nice
|
| |
Meds was the last great Placebo album. BFTS was when they got boring
