i have no idea if i would have liked this even just 5 years ago. maybe 15 years ago. RIP Kyle, got to see them about two months before he passed. was awesome. Oceans Ate Alaska was the highlight of the night.

i thought this A) sounded way poppier than Darkbloom/Carry the weight (which i pretty much both thought sucked) and B) just better in general. The vocal editing on Stephen sounded pretty cool, but wasn't a huge fan of Shomo.
its pretty clear without Pavone songwriting is not their strong suite. I think he must have written so much for them.
Seeing them this fall in Houston if anyone else wants to cry about Planting a Seed with me

Whenever this band pops up, I think of this douche I knew in high school who threatened to kick my ass because I didn’t recognize this band as “the future of metal” he was also in a shitty local metalcore band, go figure

Eh i just think the first album is super inspirational. they come from an area known for poverty and drug use and wrote about essentially the golden rule and shit and then Kyle OD's. its tragic

unfortunately. i really liked him when i was 19 and AA! got serious on that one album, and the first Beartooth EP was sick.
After that the sing along choruses really drain me and turn me into a cynic

WCaR and Beartooth is not a mixture of sounds I would expect to be good... and I was right. They're just way different forms of Metalcore. Compared to their other singles this is definitely probably their worst.
I still have high hopes for their next album though. All this does is make me miss Kyle Pavone more. What a talent.
