"Erik Lindmark and Deeds of Flesh were very influential to Defeated Sanity's sound. They pushed boundaries with twisted structures, increased barbarity and a more extreme, uncompromising mindset when compared to the bands of the early nineties.
Recently, after his passing, we were asked to play a cover song for the Party San fest in Germany. We could think of no better song than Hunting Humans.
When recording The Sanguinary Impetus the following year we decided that, as a tribute to Erik and DoF, we wanted to also record this song.
RiP to a legend of Brutal Death Metal!"
