Incantation premiere new track 2020-06-25 by Fernando Alves STAFF | 15 Comments | Death metal legends Incantation are streaming the official lyric video for 'Propitiation', a brand new track taken from their upcoming album Sect of Vile Divinities, out August 21st via Relapse Records.
Stream 'Propitiation' official lyric video below.
Relapse Records states:
"Now in 2020, INCANTATION return with their highly anticipated new album, Sect of Vile Divinities. True to form, Sect of Vile Divinities, sees the legendary band adhering to the ways of the old school, unleashing twisted, mangled, and utterly disgusting Death Metal once again. A pitch-black mix of unrelenting Death Metal and imposing Funeral Doom, each track on Sect of Vile Divinities is a dirge dedicated to different ancient evils across various cultures. At a point where the world's most vile converge, tracks such as 'Propriation' see the band's driving riffs and pummeling drums crush the very foundations of religious zealotry, while standouts such as 'Entrails of the Hag Queen' and 'Fury's Manifesto' champion no-frills Death Metal in its purest form.
Three decades of Death Metal still the funeral procession carries on. With Sect of Vile Divinities, INCANTATION hail a return to form for the genre, and release one of 2020's most blasphemous and unforgiving titles."

First!!!
| | | FUCK YES
| | | These guys sure stay busy and prolific. Another batch of slimy, super-heavy death-doom riffs sounds fine by me.
| | | lol who even approves these press releases
| | | lol who even approves these press releases [2]
| | | sounds like a really evil stoner doom song as opposed to typical death doom. kinda catchy harmonies though
| | | What went through the mind of the guitarist, songwriter and bandleader who had been continually chosen as the best metal guitarist in the world by the readers’ and experts’ polls of various music magazines and websites? Laiho brushed the dust off his shoulders and revved up the engines. A new line- up or death! Luckily, he wasn’t alone.
| | | ^ memorable PR ^
| | | That basically makes it the best PR ever
| | | these PRs are only made possible by nerds on sputnikmusic propagating funeral doom as a term
| | | Sweet. I wasn't huge on Profane Nexus but this looks very interesting. Song is dope
| | | What’s the anti-nerd term?
| | | Consistently amazing band.
| | | Kyle from incantation has a mustache.
