I think I hyped it up too much reading the Apple Music "blurb" Gaga wrote about the track. She talks about how she wanted to challenge Ariana Grande and get her out of her comfort zone, and says she heard her try vocal tactics she hadn't tried before.

...nothing of that sort happens on the track. If anything...AG sounds scared af singing on this. Can literally imagine her singing with Gaga right up to her face staring at her like a patient in a mental institution.

Song is sorta catchy but really pretty tame, nothing too great to see here. Gaga doing the low british accent thing is.. interesting? but not sure it really makes the song better. Song will still probably be gigantic and we'll hear it everywhere because it's gaga/grande

Gaga is fantastic as always, but damn Grande actually didn't butcher the song with her Mariah Carey-like vocal fall vomit. Not saying she's a bad singer at all, but her over the top vocal approach always grinded my gears. On this one she actually held back and I am all for that shit. Fun summer jam.
