Gleemer release new single 2020-04-17 by Kyle Robinson | 4 Comments | Fort Collins, Colorado-based indie rockers Gleemer released the second single from their upcoming album Down Through. The single, the album's title track, sees Gleemer harness their emotive range in a dynamic composition that continues to refine the band's 90s influences into a new vision for modern indie rock.
Produced by Will Yip of Turnover, Title Fight, and Citizen fame, the album is scheduled for release on May 8th on Other People Records. Yip had this to say about Gleemer on Instagram:
"When i first heard @gleemerband, I knew that if we worked together, we could make something special. So grateful to have the trust of not just an amazing and inspiring band, but to have the trust of an awesome producer/engineer in [frontman Corey Coffman]. I love these guys and I love the record we created together. The band’s musicianship, songwriting, and their openness to have me involved in collaborating on the songs made me incredibly stoked. I couldn’t be more proud of the record. The record and the band are so incredibly special and I can’t wait to share this with the world and watch them pop the fuck off.
Thanks for having me a part of it @gleemerband."
Last month, Coffman offered this insight on the new album:
"Gleemer has been a journey over the past few years where we’ve been maneuvering through our lives, tapping into our creativity, and finding inspiration in so much around us. Our lives brought us to Down Through. When you start creating music, you hope to one day reach that point in your career where you make THAT record, and Down Through might be that record."
