Dude where was this vocal variety on the album? I didn't even know this guy did highs or lows. He sat in the mid range the whole time. I still enjoyed his performance but damn, I would have enjoyed it more if he had been throwing some of this in there.

I might be remembering incorrectly. I don't think he was monotonous but I thought the variation was far more subtle than what he's doing here. Not counting the cleans, obviously.
Edit: Yeah I was wrong, he clearly favors mids but he uses plenty of variety on the album.

his use of singing and pitched screaming on Tragic Beasts is pretty awesome, though
