Banks Releases Live EP 2020-04-03 by Bedex | 15 Comments | Jillian Rose Banks, simply known as Banks, released an EP containing covers to four of her previous songs recorded with a stripped down, essentially acoustic instrumentation. Banks' own vocals were also recorded in one take, emulating the live setting.
"Stroke", "Contaminated", and "If We Were Made of Water" are taken from Banks' 2019 album III, while the third track "Drowning" is taken from her debut LP Goddess.
Videos were posted leading up to the EP to accompany the release, titled "1 Mic 1 Take". The video to the first track "Stroke" is embedded below.
