I'll always give new material from Ulver a chance, but man, I haven't really LOVED anything they've done since the mid-2000's now. AOJC was alright as far as modern era stuff from them goes, but I never go back to it really.

I just miss the more experimental side of their songwriting, they're still good, but nothing has hit me like Blood Inside or Perdition City since those albums. Shadows... is rad and War of the Roses is cool, but after that I think they lost a certain spark.

I know what you mean, but Messe and AGCTCLLUFUDDUFKYC are still incredible albums so I wouldn't go that far. Still, I hope for something more, yeah.
