Pyrrhon debut new song 2020-03-30 by Fernando Alves STAFF | 25 Comments | Progressive extreme metal outfit Pyrrhon are currently streaming 'Another Day In Paradise', the first song taken from their upcoming new album Abscess Time, out June 26th via Willowtip (digital via Bandcamp). The album was engineered, mixed and mastered by Colin Marston (Gorguts, Krallice).

Vocalist Doug Moore on the new song: "One of the most odious aspects of modern life is the insistence that you always act like you’re insanely lucky and blessed to be doing what you’re doing, whether it’s a job or a creative pursuit. Projecting optimism and gratitude is basically a social requirement in most situations, even though the vast majority of people don’t feel like that at all! Performing that sense of false cheer makes me feel like an evangelist for a religion I don’t actually believe in."

The track is slightly less abstract than the previous album, that's probably what you miss. Judging by this first sample, Abscess Time will be more accessible.
