I've never been a country fan, but as an outsider I've always seen Kenny Rogers as a symbol of the genre, along with Dolly Parton. Kenny Rogers & Sheena Easton's We've Got Tonight was the song that probably had the most impact in Europe.

I just dropped in to see what condition his condition was in. RIP, Kenny.

Will Sasso's version of Kenny Rogers on MAD TV back in the day had me crying from laughing. Outside of that, I knew very little about this guy and his music. I'm 32, so he's a bit before my time. Regardless, RIP.

Scratch that, I know this song in the link.

Rogers was a rocker originally. I put his original band, The First Edition, into the database.
