This and night of the witch are fucking awesome. Modern Testament has been pretty much the same since the Formation of Damnation and arguably pretty good with Dark Roots being my pick as the best of the album's since then.
But these songs bring back the intensity of The Gathering, my favourite of all Testament albums so I'm pretty pumped for this release. Also, the chord progression in this song sounds pretty similar to True Believer.

Hell yeah, Testament rule. Probably my favorite Thrash band.

The new song is way better than the first single. Makes me more excited to hear the whole thing.

Song rules. I have a feeling this could be the best thrash album of 2020

THAT guitar tone.-

Plus the mere fact that Hoglan is drumming.

Hard to believe these guys are still going this hard. They blow all the other thrash/bay area bands of their time out of the water currently.

Art is an improvement, hopefully this isn't to flat sonically.

I mean look at the lineup, you got Hoglan and DiGiorgio, two absolute masters of their instruments, long time Testament guitarists Peterson and Skolnick + ever reliable Chuck Billy! how could this possibly be bad!

"Good to hear the bass rattling as well"

barely...

i got hard when i saw digiorgio's name, but its impossible to hear him throughout most of this song. not to mention his lines seem pretty simple from what i can tell.

yeah kinda feel like hoglan and digiorgio's talent is being wasted on whats pretty generic 2010s more of the same testament fare

in a genre as dead as thrash metal in 2020, I'll take standard testament affair

good track but imo they'd be better with bostaph still. hoglan's good but none of the albums after formation have really been that ear-catching in the drum department
