Van Etten unveils new song Beaten Down 2020-02-05 by Sowing STAFF | 7 Comments | Indie star Sharon Van Etten has released a new single entitled "Beaten Down." The song possesses a downtrodden, eerie, and at times almost psychedelic atmosphere. The black-and-white music video [directed by Nicky and Juliana Giraffe] is set in the California desert and features dancers Allison and Veronica Huber. There is no word on a new album at this time.
"Beaten Down" comes on the heals on 2019's Remind Me Tomorrow.

This was decent, better than most of her last album which I didn't enjoy ("Seventeen" aside of course).
| | | my day is made
| | | I do hope this is part of a 2020 LP though. I'd be interested in a quick turnaround to see how she bounces back after her last.

| | | Enjoying this one. I'll be surprised if she comes out with another LP this quickly though.
| | | didn't get far with the new album, but this track is pretty not bad
| | | I'm guessing it's part of an EP, kinda how she followed Are We There a year later.
Swell track.
