As frontman Serj Tankian prepares to release his debut solo album in October, chief songwriter and guitarist Daron Malakian is preparing to go into the studio with bandmate John Dolyaman (drums) and a bunch of guest musicians to record for his own side-project, the awesomely-titled Scars On Broadway.

John and I are really excited about this new project and can't wait to get on stage and perform live for you guys.

This will probably be as bad as the last two System albums. I have hope for Tankian though, since those last two were Malakian's brainchilds.

This is going to suck. Anyone who could have been interested will now be fleeing in terror at the thought of being assaulted by Malakian's 'vocals'.This Message Edited On 08.16.07

Yeah, this sounded interesting until it said he was doing vocals. I don't like the guy's voice one bit.

I was never fond of Daron's vocals, and i thought him being brainchild for Hypnotize/mesmerize meant that only mesmerize was worth hearing tbh.

F*cking A, when will he realize that he sucks as a lead vocalist? That's what made Mesmerize/Hypnotize so mediocre, not counting his absolutely terrible lyrics.

Lost In Hollywood was pretty good. I mean, every other System song he sung sucked ass, but that one song was ok. Of course, She's like Heroin cancels it out several times over...This Message Edited On 08.17.07
