Heck yeah
| |
Oh yes...
| |
Shit
| |
Not many bands get the honour of a separate post on Sput for when they simply “enter studio”. Big deal lol
| |
^ That's what I was thinking haha
| |
will rule obvs like the sun rises in the east
| |
fuck yea
| |
Theyve been pretty successful so far with only making small tweaks album to album, but i think theyre really gonna have to try something new this time to get me at full mast.
| |
I wouldn't care either way if they don't really change it up
more tunes for the gym
| |
I wouldn't even be mad if we got an article for every time one of the band members took a shit.
| |
Ulcerate guitarist Michael Hoggard gets neck extension surgery for 6th record
| |
Why does he need an extension to suck his own dick when any of us would gladly volunteer
| |
I'll jot you down as first in line
| |
I'd bite it off
| |
in that case, the 10 year re-release of Everything Is Fire will now be titled Everything Is On Fire
| |
"Not many bands get the honour of a separate post on Sput for when they simply 'enter studio'"
yep, Ulcerate are one of the best and its totally justified, indeed.
| |
ohhhh yeeeaaahhhh
| |
nah, that's between the buried and me
| |
Finally.
| |
hell yes
| |
yasss
| |
Yeet.
| |
I hope they push their sound forward a bit tbh
They have 3 of the best DM albums ever and there’s only far you can go when you’ve already done best

| |
Damn, cannot wait to hear a new album.
| |
Very nice. Shrines of Paralysis might be my favorite Ulcerate.
| |
dis gon b gud
| |
Ulcerate? More like Dullcerate, am I right? No but seriously I love these guys. I guess someone was hyped considering an article was made for just 'entering the studio'.
| |
Ulcerate are very good but I have a feeling they won't outdo previous albums.
Who knows.
| |
News is hype. But for those who want something different out of them, what kind of progression in their sound do you want to hear or what would you rather they take out? They got a formula that they have nailed as exceptionally as a band of their stature can, I wouldn't particularly have any worries. They gonna bring it like they always do.
| |
LITTTTT
| |
be cool if they had shortened rippers this time like somethin around 4 minutes
| |
And while a 2019 release seems unlikely, these guys do record fast. I'd expect full album details by the end of the year with an early 2020 release. It looks like they're on a smaller label now, and the wait for Shrines was so long after announcement, I think mostly because Relapse dragged it out.

Bit of sythwave and Neo folk for me
| |
>be cool if they had shortened rippers this time like somethin around 4 minutes
Ah, shit, yeah I totally agree. I kinda forgot about that tbh. Those frenetic, EiF passage glory days, lol.
| |
this is inevitably going to fucking rip
| |
I’d like to see them push forward some of the melodic ideas they introduced on TDOA
| |
i'd like guest vocals from demilich dude
| |
highly doubt they'll be able to top SoP but damn if they could...
| |
yeah Shrines is my favorite but they may be able to do another
| |
Love the last record. Cant wait for this bad boy.
| |
@assemblage idk, but i get bored hearing the same album over and over again after awhile, no matter how good the band is.
| |
Actually i do know. A psychedelic direction would be cool. Or some short bangers would be interesting, like kinda grindy maybe but Ulceratized.
| |
cant beat shrines
change my mind
| |
Already did three times
| |
psyche and d-beat influence m/
| |
what if they went all mid-2000s metalcore with radio metal choruses.
| |
then I'd consider stupid hypotheticals more serious
| |
you would consider stupid hypotheticals more serious.
| |
that settles it, they're going full KSE
| |
well said fuckshitdm
| |
Fuckshitdm you're probably not gonna be around long, but I just wanna say I like your style
| |
"lead vocalist of Ulcerate sticks his big toe inside the studio door"
| |
"Ulcerate guitarist sticks his big dick inside his grandmother"
| |
My anus is about to Ulceratus m/
| |
"in that case, the 10 year re-release of Everything Is Fire will now be titled Everything Is On Fire"
lmfao
| |
FUCK YESSSSSS!!
| |
Took this clown band to bring Inveigh back, I guess that's one highlight
| |
'Actually i do know. A psychedelic direction would be cool. Or some short bangers would be interesting, like kinda grindy maybe but Ulceratized.'
Hell yes to the psych, could be interesting. Hell no to the grind. I wouldn't be totally adverse to a couple of punishing shorter tracks to break up the new (hypothetical) psych direction though.
| |
RIP fuckshitdm
Also, sweet
| |
nice
| |
I said I liked this style so he must have been cool
Great thread overall btw
