New 1349 Video 2019-09-25 by Fernando Alves | 5 Comments | Norwegian black metal band 1349 are currently streaming the official music video for "Dødskamp", taken from their upcoming new album The Infernal Pathway, which will be released on October 18th, via Seasons of Mist. The video was filmed and edited by Carl Eek Torgersen of Necrolust Productions at Inferno Festival 2019 in Oslo, Norway.

The song was originally recorded in conjunction with the Edvard Munch museum. In early 2019, the track was commissioned by the Munch Museum and Innovation Norway, Visit Norway. This request was made to four Norwegian artists, with different musical genres, who were invited to interpret in their own way a freely chosen work by the painter Edvard Munch.
Since the release of "Dødskamp", Visit Norway has shared a video in which the band describes in detail their inspiration behind the music and why they chose that particular piece.

The album was recorded in Amper Tone studios and Studio Nyhagen, mixed and mastered by Jarrett Pritchard.
