Sufjan To Release Ballet Score 2019-09-17 by Mathias EMERITUS | 6 Comments | Sufjan Stevens has announced that he will be releasing his score for the ballet "The Decalogue" on October 18th. "The Decalogue", which was choreographed by Justin Peck, debuted at the New York City Ballet in 2017. Stevens and Peck have collaborated together many times since then, including on 2019's "Principia". The album will be performed by pianist Timo Andres.
Along with a trailer, excerpt from the score has been released, both of which can be found below.

Justin Peck is one of the most talented choreographers working today, so I love the collab. I just wish they would release more video of the actual ballet.
This will make great study music, if nothing else. The excerpts sound nice

Nice! It's amazing to see him treat new ground with almost every new project. The BQE is one of his most under-appreciated works and it has a lot of beautiful piano, and his piano-based score for the Eve short film is also stellar. This sounds nice as well.
