Ric Ocasek, known for his role in seminal 70s rock group The Cars, was discovered in his townhouse in New York on Sunday and was later pronounced dead at the scene. In addition to his accolades with The Cars, he is also celebrated for his work on Weezer's self-titled debut, commonly referred to as 'The Blue Album' and Suicide's sophomore work 'Alan Vega and Martin Rev.'

He was an excellent songwriter. Love many of their albums. Even their last album had some great songs on it. I had no idea he was so old, either. He looked the same for like decades.

Gonna jam Let's Go. What a great song. Awesome chorus and classic synth line. It's like literally the sound of the 80's as a decade in one song.
