New Melanie Martinez LP / Film 2019-07-28 by hobblepot | 14 Comments | Melanie Martinez, hot off the heels of a rape allegation, has announced her sophomore album "K-12". Along with the album will come a feature length film that Martinez has written and directed herself. The album itself has been more or less announced for the past 2 years, but only through small cryptic teasers, with an official announcement and pre-orders going up on Friday 26th of July. The film will be released in theaters for a limited time only, but will also be included as a DVD with the deluxe version of the album. Both the album and the film will drop on September 6th this year.

thanks acad, the allegation was completely forgotten within a week, some people on twitter debunked some of it with photos and instagram posts (it does look like large parts of it were made up) but there’s no solid proof either way. but very few comments on the album trailer even mention the allegation, if any
