I really enjoyed their newer stuff but man it's so weird hearing stuff from around Demigod era without the ridiculously layered vocals. It actually felt like the songs were lacking punch.
Video is cool. Song is a decent choice for a video, I feel like it represents the various sides of their sounds well, and still tries new(ish) things with the group cleans. I was kind of hoping for a brand new song though, but I guess that wouldn't make sense considering their last one was from last year.

@Mabbitt Yeah man, won't get new stuff now for like another 3 years probably.

| | | His view of women sounds off, but the author of that article is assuming A LOT. So they were drunk. Drunk people have sex, doesn't make it rape in literally every case. If a woman is black out drunk and doesn't have any idea what's going on obviously that's not okay, but it doesn't state anywhere that that was the case. The author just goes all in on it without even considering the possibility that it was consensual and slaps the whole band with a rapist label. The woman never pressed charges and when asked by the management said she wasn't raped. I don't know what happened, but neither does that author, and because of that his article is fucking garbage and he should feel lame for having written it.
| | | Whether someone presses charges or not says little about whether the encounter was consensual. Same goes for instances of the victim downplaying what happened upon questioning afterwards. Even entertaining the idea that the woman involved viewed the encounter as consensual, Nergal's comments about "rock n roll" or whatever suggest that he didn't really give a shit one way or the other.
Regardless, it's not like this is the only instance of Behemoth being caught up in this kind of controversy.

| | | They may be scum and the author may be right but that article is bullshit. Like I said, he doesn't know what happened. He has the same info that I have and he just went ahead and called them rapists. That's bullshit and that's not how things are supposed to work. You're allowed to have an opinion, on the street people can say "I think so and so did it" but if you're writing articles and consider yourself any kind of journalist then you need to have some sort of actual evidence to back up claims like that rather than just running a smear campaign based almost purely on speculation.
