I do think there is a bit too much disconnect between the music and the original webisodes that earned her cult status. I wish more of that off-putting weirdness was incorporated into the music but in a less bombastic way I guess. Either way, it's still pretty amusing.

Congrats, on getting the entire point while also completely fucking missing it. It's a parody of edgy pop stars trying to be relatable or provocative. The entire point is getting a response.

Are you actually 'poppy' then? Only the artist knows the true intentions of their shtick. Either way this is calculated and that was my point, even if I missed half of it, whatever.

Everything about the project has been snide commentary on bland pop-stars who have all their music written by boardroom committees and everything down to the clothes and nail-polish they wear is predetermined by data and market research to appeal to the widest audience. That's why she always comically comes off as daft and robotic in every interview. It's all an elaborate, multi-media joke.
