Interphase has such a sick riff and vibe, I really like the album overall. Vocals are hella consistent if not a little too consistent a la BTBAM.

Too many variables. I am listening via a laptop and Chinese earbuds and it sounds fine. You may be listening to it on vinyl through Final Audio Opus 204s for all I know.
