Job for a Cowboy partially reunite

If you are waiting for a Job for a Cowboy return, this new band will most likely give you some comfort.

Serpent of Gnosis is a new supergroup comprised of Jonny Davy (Job For A Cowboy), Al Glassman (Job For A Cowboy), Tony Sannicandro (Job For A Cowboy), Max Lavelle (The Black Dahlia Murder), and Darren Cesca (Deeds of Flesh, ex-Arsis, Goratory).

The band will release their debut record As I Drink from the Infinite Well of Inebriation on June 14.

Sounds absolutely nothing like Sun Eater, then again it is under a different name.

Drums are way too loud but Davy’s vox are still as wild as ever.

Didn't even know JFAC broke up tbh. This is nowhere near as good as Sun Eater, but it's cool. Vocals are cool but nothing else really stood out for me. Not really my thing though, so take that with a grain of salt.

Hmm it doesn't sound as cerebral as Sun Eater. Hope the rest of the album is more like it. Maybe this is just one of those song segments that happens to be the most catchy or whatever
