there's also a music video for this song too with a huge band helping out the instrumentation.

Some good shiiit
|
| |
I like it.
|
| |
It’s like the vocalist took cues from Claudio Sanchez’s vox delivery/style from the Second Stage Turbine Blade era
|
| |
this band is my submission for room 101
|
| |
Dope dope

Hell yes

Fox Mulder? It's about aliens and space...

I saw them live yesterday in NJ. Needless to say, they played most of the new disc and completely forgot they released two records before. Record seems fine but there's not much on the level of their best singles imho on a first listen

Love their ongoing relationship with the Bluecoats, Sputnik needs more drum corps love
|
| |
That live performance is RAD! more bands need to do this sort of thing

"I saw them live yesterday in NJ. Needless to say, they played most of the new disc and completely forgot they released two records before. Record seems fine but there's not much on the level of their best singles imho on a first listen"
I guess that happened because they changed the drummer again... it should be really hard to make new songs and learn old songs like "Blood on the Radio" or "Feed the Horses"

Their new drummer is a machine, honestly the touch he has is butter melting, and double pedals like a god. I don't think complexity is the issue here
I think they did 2 "b-sides" off of Maps of non-Existent Places, or anyway I didn't absolutely remember them, the whole new disc, an impro and My Famed Disappearing Act as a closing. I was so bummed and my friends were dead by the end of the gig. 2hr of unknown prog, the crowd was dead by then, loads of people left. Just a really stupid setlist choice imho

I've never listened to this band much but every time I do I'm convinced I'll love them
|
| |
@OwMySnauze Would make sense - they're signed to Claudio's label.
|
| |
vocalist sorta kills this band for me
|
| |
Interesting, I think he's one of the things that makes the band for me. I'm a sucker for higher-pitched vocalists with an ear for poppy melodies and he nails it.
