RIP Peabo Bryson 2026-09-22 by Josh D. | 1 Comments | R&B great Peabo Bryson passed away on June 2. At the end of May, CBS reported Bryson suffered a stroke and was under medical care trying to recover. Two days later he died, surrounded by friends and family. He was 75 years old.
Bryson is probably best known for his two Grammy-winning duets with the classic Disney songs "A Whole New World" and "Beauty and the Beast". He also had a long solo career, including 21 albums beginning in 1976. "If Ever You're In My Arms Again" hit the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, his highest charting single.

"If Ever You're In My Arms Again" came up on shuffle yesterday, I hadn't heard it in a while. I turned it up and put my whole chest into it, and decided to look him up and saw his passing date was just a few months ago. I hadn't heard, he's been mostly out of the public eye for a while as far as I know. Big RIP.
