QOTSA Release 3rd New Single 2026-09-23 by John Marinakis CONTRIBUTOR | 13 Comments | Queens of the Stone Age have released Where the Goth Girls At?, the third single from their forthcoming ninth album, Perfecth, due October 30 through Matador Records.
Following Easy Street and Insignificant Other, the song draws on Josh Homme's teenage years in suburban Palm Desert. The frontman recalled watching goth employees at JCPenney give older customers makeovers, a memory that inspired the track's affectionate look at youthful attraction and the desire to impress.
The accompanying video reunites the band with Easy Street directors Christopher Gruse and Tony Wolski. Set inside an abandoned power plant, it features comedian Steve Agee, dancer and artist Scarlett Kapella, singer and actress Lou Lou Safran, and members of the band.
Homme and bassist Michael Shuman produced Perfecth, recording in New Orleans and Los Angeles. Homme has described its varied musical approaches as a way of exploring love, lust, foolishness and the understanding gained through those experiences.

Yeah last two have not been it. Easy Street I dig a lot but these just feel like adult contemporary indie which is not what I want from Queens.
