It was alright, some of the lyrics didn't really tie into the actual theme of the song and it was instrumentally bleh, but the video was cool.

I don't understand english when it's sung by Tankian so I won't say anything about the quality of the lyrics, but the song and the clip were pretty awesome

About par for something from a System of a Down member. Some of the vocal melodies sounded awkward, but other than that it was okay.
I'll need to listen to it a few more times, though.

The video was really cool, but the song gives me mixed opinions. Parts of it were cool, but the vocal melodies were annoying pretty much all the way through.

Decent. Nice to hear Serj's voice without some attempted rather whiny back-up from a certain person.
The acoustic riff is cool but other than that, instrumentally kinda weak.

when you sound as annoying as a song like that...the only thing I can think to say to you is to shut up.
he's a talented vocalist, but this song doesn't display it.

I liked it. The criticisms are all valid, and the "I believe that you're wrong" part is a bit boring, but overall I thought it was a good song. Basically what I expected, except a little less weird than I hoped. Although I wonder what he's referring to when he says it's unlike any other song on the record? Serj is pretty much my favorite vocalist of any band ever (Maynard James Keenan? Awesome, but not versatile) so I'll probably like this no matter what.

lol it looks nothing like me though. i asked for a scruffy look (thinking i would have a somewhat of a just shavin beard) but they gave me a gay mustache and goatee that consists of 5 hairs. i might try again with a different pic.

2. If you're gonna make a video about american democracy, don't make a britpop quality video.
3. If you're gonna make a solo project, make it different then the band you're already in. (ex: Dustin Kensrue)

Um, icaughtfire, Serj said this would be different from the rest of the album. Admitted similarities to System of a Down aside, the solo project won't be like this. And Britpop quality video? WTF? The video was awesome, and even if it was of that quality as you claim, the association of the video with anything British is tenuous at best.

I thought this was below par, sucks comparative to System stuff. I kinda grew out of SOAD, I think they whine too much, basically they are just as bad as who they are talking about, they create propaganda aswell:/

The song surprised me to be honest, I like SOAD but I had very low expectations and quite liked it. Video was a bit meh, got a bit boring as it moved onwards, but the song was great.

If you want to get technical about it, any media that has an agenda is propaganda. By definition, John Lennon was a propagandist. So was Joe Strummer. And Chuck D of Public Enemy. And The Eagles... The Scorpions at one point... Pink Floyd...
