L7 Scatter the Rats in May

California grunge band L7 is set to release their 7th album, entitled Scatter the Rats, this May 3rd on Joan Jett's label Blackheart Records.

As for inspiration for the album's title, member Donita Sparks remarked: “There were a couple of rats in the basement of the studio, where all the amplifiers were, and at one point Norm [their producer] said to us, ‘Let’s get rockin’, we can scatter the rats."

Yeah, it's a disappointing single, but their 2017 single "Dispatch From Mar-a-Lago" rocked, so I still have hope for it

I like the new song quite a bit, really excited for the new album, I fucking love this band it's so great to see them get back together and make new music again.
