I really wish these guys had more consistently interesting guitar work. They lean way too heavily on low-note chugging, and have for quite some time. I know they can write good music but their better songs seem to be the outliers on albums primarily packed with mediocrity.

I think almost every album from the band is good, some definitely more than others, but each album has its own sound and at least several good tracks. I'll always be there for the next one

Seems the pinch harmonics are hit or miss with people. Some people saying they love them, some saying they hate them, no middle ground. I for one love them.

Pinch harmonic'ing is pretty fickle and playing that many in succession ought to be a challenge. Respect if they can do it live because I'm pretty sure they did one bar of riffing and then copy-pasted in the studio.

These guys might be one of my favorite metal bands that I consistently forget about how good they are. I've found myself enjoying every album, except I wasn't too hot on Wolf Amongst Ravens. I do wish they'd do some more melodic stuff like they did on Rareform, but they do chugging better than most
