Deafheaven B-Side Release

2019-02-27 by DungeonBoy | 22 Comments
Universally polarizing avante-garde, black-gazing metallers, Deafheaven, have released a new song "Black Brick". Recorded during the Ordinary Corrupt Human Love sessions, this B-Side sees these San Fransiscan bad boys at their heaviest yet.

what makes you think this is a b-side or from their recent record’s sessions? they were in the studio recently

really? the article I saw didn’t mention that plusbdidnt think it made sense with the difference in sound and since they were in the studio not too long ago

The change in sound from their last album is odd, but their bandcamp cites it as a bside. They could've known it wouldn't make the album anyway and just recorded/mixed it to sound darker for the helluvit, maybe?

Also what's this about them being in the studio, and another new song???

Edit: looked it up and they were in the studio yay hype. Figures, I need to use Instagram more.

The band is "polarizing" around here, but it's pretty much universally acclaimed everywhere else lol.

This song rules and is way, way, way better than anything from the atrocity that is Ordinary.
