Was this Steve Harris' son's band?

@Dewing, you're thinking of Rise to Remain.

He broke that band up to form the even more tedious As Lions.

Oooh that's right. Got confused somehow, thanks.

@Dewinged is right, this is the band with Steve Harris' son. Rise to Remain was the band with Bruce Dickinson's son.

Goddamn. Well I guess I'm the one that got confused. This is still 100x better than anything Rise to Remain ever did. There's some good hooks on "The Day The World Stood Still" despite it basically being buttrock-core.

I saw these dudes open for Trivium a few years back. Pretty forgetful, and you'd think I'd have given Steve Harris's son a nicer chance then this.

Oh, so I was right all along lol I haven't listened to Bruce's son's band. And now I am kinda scared to do so, I have massive respect for the man.

I don't have any clue who these guys are, but they're opening for Iron Maiden in August

idk, they sound very average

Don't do it. Everything Austin Dickinson has done has been incredibly dull.

I was once asked to review that As Lions album for a small e-magazine and the experience was so traumatically tedious that I didn't review anything for like another 6 months.

I don't know, I thought Rise to Remain was alright. Mostly an old school Bullet for My Valentine clone. Definitely the best of the Maiden kid projects but then again, that bar is very very low.
