Satanic Surfers Cover Maiden

2019-01-25 by Slothy Seconds | 4 Comments
Veteran Swedish punk rockers, Satanic Surfers, have added a cover of Iron Maiden's Sanctuary, to the latest Sea Shepherd Compilation Vol.3.
This comes after the outstanding release, late last year, of Spanish Love Songs covering Phoebe Bridgers' Funeral. If you are a fan of either artist, you need to hear this song!

The album is due out on March 29th, pre-orders are available through Uncle-M records with 100% of the profits being donated to the Sea Shepherd.

Lots of good punk came out of Sweden in the 90s, courtesy of Burning Hearts Records. Epitaph has the distributing rights of Burning Hearts Records in North America.
Here are some examples,
59 times the Pain, Raised Fist, Randy, No Fun At All, Millencolin, Refused, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, The Hives, Division of Laura Lee, and Bombshell Rocks.

and here is the link to Spanish Love Songs, covering Funeral by Phoebe Bridgers.

Nothing like a good charity album to have a diverse track list. Does anyone remember the Music for Our Mother Ocean albums, I think there were 3. Some good stuff on them.
