Seer's Tear work on new album

2018-12-04 by Voivod STAFF | 2 Comments
Following their reunion in August 2017, obscure English progressive rock/metal purveyors Seer's Tear have announced the release of their sophomore album, titled Demonstration.

As the album title implies, songs and ideas from the band's array of demos have been given a new coat of paint and a much darker/heavier sound compared to the debut album Precious, which was released in 1998.

Date of release and final track list have yet to be finalized.

Band's debut album and return to the fold, were mentioned in the progressive rock/metal sector of an extended throwback to the metal year of 1998, in the December issue of Metal Hammer Greece.

In view of Greece's insatiable hunger for Psychotic Waltz (which happened to disband that year), Seer's Tear were largely promoted in the land of the gods, as descendants of the San Diego stalwarts. Truth is that the English were not as addictive, instrumentally proficient, or equally imaginative song writers; however, Precious, while merely promising, hardly resembled to anything prog metal released in/prior to 1998.
