I give this a full letter-grade higher for the murder solo tho

I don't know about this band anymore.. Breeding Death and Resurrection through Carnage were great but can't say I've really loved anything outside of those two

i think they've been decent their whole career but the increasing amount of hm-2 worship seems to have impacted the quality of their songs a lot

Unblessing the Purity is third best, but that album was an interesting change in direction. It takes itself more seriously than any of the stuff before it, and it is a solid neck breaking death metal EP. Which actually brings up more of my issue with this new one, the album cover, title, promotion for the new one makes it seem like it's going to be an atmospherically haunting death metal album, but then you get this goofy b movie slasher song, which is fine, but makes the whole realization of concept seem off to me.

Bloodbath used to have Peter Tragtren (Hypocrisy is mediocre) and Mikael Akerfeldt so yes they were great.
What's with shitty dm album titles this year though? This one blows and the Behemoth album name blows too

hypocrisy are good, just not very varied
it kinda stinks that they no longer have tagtgren or akerfeldt cus both were top tier dm vocalists. nick's just kinda average

Video rules hard. Can't tell if I love the video and just think the song is okay or I like both. New vocalist isn't bad but the way he sits in the mix is for me. Gonna jam regardless. Always riffs

Once I got used to Nick's vocals I started to really enjoy them, reckon he's a decent fit for the band. First single was great, this one kinda sucks though.

He's decent, but he's obviously the weakest link imo. There's a lot of "decent" and "average" being thrown around to describe him which I think is accurate
