Architects is doing what BMTH SHOULD have done after Sempiternal; continuing to make stellar music with disregard to radio play. Great track. Great band.

Not to sure what's up with this band. From the few singles I've heard they sound like a poor man's make them suffer...just a bit bland. Might check out some of the older albums they seem to have a bit of a following.

I don't like this as a single. I think it would fit better in the context of the album.

I'm also hoping these songs won't be the norm for Architects. That would be a complete waste of Josh's talents.

They cut it pretty close to the end before the obligatory BLEGH came in.

Such a fun track, it fucking slaps. Album will obviously own.

And man, Sam's vocals are incredible.

The song itself was very barebones and pretty boring but Sam’s singing was a great addition.

These guys are really gonna commit to the same fucking sound their last 2 albums had huh? Really hope they didnt bring Josh in just to recycle Lost Together/All Our Gods riffs.

Well at least Sam sounds awesome, as always.

^Yeah 10 years ago before they felt the need to implement cringey half screaming/half singing vocals.

Nightmares and Hollow Crown wont ever be topped.

Have tried to get into these guys a few times over the years but never could.

This track and Hereafter have totally changed that for me. Both are stellar tracks.

Appreciate the hell out of this band and everything they've done for the genre, but I really want something new. Everything they've done since Daybreaker has sounded the same to me. Really wish they'd combine the new sound with the Nightmares/Hollow Crown chaotic dissonance sound.

Great song but getting sick of them singing about the same shit over and over. Like jesus, we get it.. rich people are evil, corporations are greedy, we ruined the planet with pollution blahblah how many times can you write the exact same lyrics ... 3 albums now

^They've written about so much more than that, especially on their last album. Some of the songs were uber political, but most of the album was about Tom's cancer and confronting death

DreamAgain man you have weird standards. So many musicians just sing about love and things related to it. Any band that takes on more complex and important topic like Architects do deserve props. As for repetition, personally I feel their messages are still pertinent and should be repeated until their concepts are no longer massive issues.

This song is rather boring, I do appreciate the different dynamics in regards to the vocals though. It's still by the numbers metalcore.

DreamAgain
October 5th 2018

NonApplicable , they aren't adding any input to these topics. There isn't any substance to the lyrics, it's just surface level "omg evil rich people!" shit. It's all so on the nose too it comes off cringy. Compare their lyrics to something like Thrice who has sung about similar things for a long time now with so much more subtlety or actual depth.

This song is made to accentuate Sam's abilities as vocalist, so if you like Architetcs for the instrumentals this won't appeal to you, but it's far from a mediocre song.
