Ever since To Be Everywhere it just hasn't done much for me, which is a shame. This new stuff sounds like something Foo Fighters would've done on their last album.

they have some cool shit going on but yh the end product is pretty bland. it's really noticeable with that arena rock chorus

I didn't get the same dense instrumentation on this track that I did before from this band. The guitars seem like they aren't really layered at all. And there's maybe only one or two guitar tracks.

Rest of the album is better than this... mostly. Having listened to the whole thing, I'd place this at song 9 out of 10. Hold Up a Light is safely worse.
